About Lake Fun
Lake Fun was built to create a cleaner, more personal boating experience on Lake Lanier.
Lake Fun is owned and operated by Zsolt Szadovszki, an Olympic-level canoe and kayak coach, former international athlete, entrepreneur, and lifelong water sports professional.
Zsolt has spent decades around the water through international paddlesport competition, high-performance coaching, and outdoor business. He has coached at the highest levels of the sport, including contributing to the development of an Olympic champion during the Tokyo Olympic cycle, and has remained actively involved in local paddlesports development in Gainesville and on Lake Lanier.
Before building Lake Fun in Georgia, Zsolt also lived in Hawaii, where daily life around the ocean deepened an already strong connection to water, boats, and outdoor adventure. That background still shapes the way Lake Fun operates today: direct, organized, safety-conscious, and centered around giving people a better experience on the water.
In addition to running Lake Fun, Zsolt has worked with Epic Kayaks and has been actively involved in coaching and local athlete development through the Lake Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club.
Lake Fun is built around direct communication, clean boats, strong standards, and a more organized rental experience from first contact to check-in.
